When was the last time you heard the words "I'm from the government and I'm here to help you" that made you feel good. they would just turn it into another beuracratic mess like they have avery other business they touch. Ted Kennedy can't even drive his car and don't even talk to me about putting Barney 'the Queen' Frank in charge of anything other than listening to show tunes. 'Live Free or Die'.. Leave it to the individual to make the decision where he wants to spend his/her money. We are becoming a Nanny state...Just my humble opinion..

Can anyone explain to me what this actually means for US players?
There is already a law that states its illegal for banks to receive funds from Online gambling sites, right? So what exactly does this new law do? |

It doesn't even go into effect until later this year. If you prefer to have the decision to play poker, lash out at GW and his moral crusade. He's the one behind this. In the meantime, give some thanks to Frank for standing up for poker players.
What they need to do is simply legalize it. That way dirtbag companies licensed by the Kahnawake can't just treat their customers like a dog turd and get away with it. I've been waiting since mid-November for FTP to honor withdrawals and they cannot or will not do it. |

Also all the people who say get rid of these sites, why the fxxx are you even here then? Why do you have an account? I cant wait until us Americans finally get a well regulated poker software where there is guarantee no cheating going on. Also, I would love to play on a site where they have phone number where you can contact them instead of answering your emails 20 days later... |
