I love how these **** guys come in here with their cryptic **** messages and don't provide any links to anything... I found this line on his wikipedia page:
He also collapsed during the 2009 World Series of Poker. At this stage the cause is unknown.

Miami John Update A short time ago, "Miami" John Cernuto spoke to WSOP Media Director Nolan Dalla and gave him an update on his condition. Upon his arrival at the hospital it was determined that Cernuto was suffering from internal bleeding and he'll have to undergo some more tests in the next few days to determine the cause. Cernuto wanted everyone at the WSOP to know that he's doing OK, his family is with him, and he even asked Dalla if he knew whether or not he won the hand during which he collapsed. (There actually was no winner-- Tournament Director Jack Effel killed the hand before action resumed) Cernuto has since been blinded out of the tournament. Our continued good wishes to Miami John for a speedy recovery. (Hat tip to California Jen and Kevin Mathers at Pokerati for the info) |
