5 people left in 9 person $2+$.25 S&G.
SB/BB 50/100
I'm SB (about 2800 chips left) and get dealt Ac2c.
UTG raises to 200.
UTG+1 calls 200.
Button folds.
I fold the suited A2 in small blind with a UTG raise and another call behind me and I'd be first to act post flop and I had to figure one of them probably had a better ace. I also thought back to one of the "Sit n learns" that suited cards only gives me like 3% better chance.
Flop was 2 A 7
Hand ended on the flop.
Just wondering if that was playing TOO tight or if the fold was probably the better move. |

This is where the hand ends for you. Don't concern yourself with what comes out on the flop, you don't have cards, it just doesn't matter anymore. The fold is most likely correct for the reasons you state. wp... |

+1. That flop would make 72o look like a good call, which it never is in that preflop situation, you folded so the flop is irrelevant. |

Its either shove or fold.
I hate those mini raisers so I probally shove depending on reads.
Folding is OK .
Calling is just sooo bad. |

you should never fold preflop, just in case you do hit the flop
