I am good at getting tokens but mostly play cash games right now, so they're not much use to me. Is there any way I can redeem them for cash (I would be completely willing to forfeit the rake fee included in the token i.e. $6 of a $75 token etc.) or maybe sell them to other FTPers? I don't see a way to transfer tokens, so is the only way to sell tokens to sell them your entire account (passwors, etc) with just the tokens in it? There must be a better way?

Play the last tier and convert $75 to $216.

Create a private HU tourney with someone who is trusted, and have the winner ship 1/2 of the prize pool to the loser.

I know that is the standard thing to do, but more than half my BR is tied up in tokens right now, and I don't want to risk that much on a couple of SnGs. I'd rather just take the cash.

Cubbies, are you interested in a $75 token? I think we could set up a HU match for $71+4 so FTP doesn't skim so much off of the transaction. I will cover your entry fee, so you only have to transfer me $67.

If you don't want to do it, is there a forum on here where I can advertise this offer? (maybe in "Private Tournaments"?)

Thanks.

Tokens can only be used to enter tournaments. If you prefer to play cash games and not tournaments, then don't enter tournaments where the prizes are tokens. Seems pretty obvious to me. The SNG's will have less variance than the MTT's so that is probably your best option unless you can do what the previous poster said and set up a HU tourney with a trusted person and have the winner transfer 1/2 of the winnings to the loser.

How you entered and won enough tokens to account for 1/2 of your BR when you freely admit to a preference for cash games is beyond my comprehension.

Yeah I know it sounds funny. I used to think I was a NLHE MTTer all the way, but found that I would always get very close to the money, but rarely cash. I saw the token SnGs and figured I would be good at making the top 35% of a field instead of the top 10%. I was right, and won 6 straight token SnGs. My ROI for these is like 230%, so you can understand why I kept playing them. But now that I have all this money tied up in tokens, I have nothing profitable to use them for.

I'll make a thread to see if anybody wants to do the heads up thing in private tournaments.

I'm not interested in exchanging any tokens right now. FYI, a $75 token will be $69 + $6.

I'm sure if anyone's interested in cashing out a token, they'll contact you via PM after reading this thread.
