Online Poker Forum - I just got rickrolled

I have always heard about this, and some of them are very bad some of them completely take over your browser this one wasnt very bad but i did have to do a system restore (5 mins work) but it sucked lol a word of advice never ever open links a friend of mine recently went to irag to work in the hospital as a surgeon and i get this email from him saying here i am in the operating room and when i click on the link it says in big letter " you have just been rickrollled" and this ungodly awful video starts playing it did take a few mninutes for to get it to stop should i run my anti virus software now?

You need to reinstall windows. If that doesn't work throw your computer in the bin and buy a new 1. Hope this helps. Good luck

well he must have not sent me the bad rickroll because everything is working fine hehe im gonna run my anit virus software anyway but everything seems ok at this point

Just because it's a rickroll that's hard to close doesn't mean that it's a virus. All of the ones that I know of are just to annoy you, not to put malware onto your computer.

Besides, you should be running Firefox with NoScript so that you're much safer.

yeah thats all this was but i wasnt happy about what he did, that was mean. so how do i get this firefox with no script?

trust me you dont want the rickrolling that i got lol i would post the link but someone would click on it lol it's this horrible video of some guy singing from the 70's it looks like and it does really annoy you lol it did freeze up my browswer and i had to reboot and do a system restore but all is good now

Rick Astley does not annoy me. I love that video. It has really grown on me. BTW, its 80's.
