| He's currently sitting 2/5 at the final table of event #25... That game broke for dinner, he went over and sat behind his dwindling stack at event #27 and in the matter of a couple of hands (6 according to pokernews.com) ran that back up to be in the middle of the field of the 30 remaining in that event... |

| He's def a BAMF when it comes to the poker world. Negreanu (sp?) even blogged that Ivey's the best. |

Lol yes.
Twitters:
Daniel Negreanu
Are you serious. Ivey shows up for one hand. I flop 3 queens he makes a flush on me. I have 13k
Daniel Negreanu
26 left. 13k would be tough to limp in the money but its worth 20 points. Ivey has 100k and isn't here- he'll cash lol
He's the nuts at every game except for razz? Funny thing is he doesn't have a NLHE bracelet yet.
Edit: I just noticed Ivey has a 2k/4k razz table. Anyone ever see him play it? |

| Already 2 players have won 2 bracelets each, Ivey and Parker. Ville Wahlbeck has made multiple deep runs as well as Negreaneu. |

| I have been a fan of Ivey's for a while now. I always love watching him play as his attitude towards the game is great. He is definately one of the better, if not the best, players in poker right now. |

2 WSOP Braclets and in the November 9 of the main event..... hes having a SICK series.
he has 7 bracelets - in 6 different events
no bracelets in hold'em yet but hes cracked the top 25 of the main event 4 times since 2002.
Phil Hellmuth may be the best NLHE tournamnet player... but i think i Ivey is proving he is the best all around poker player. |

FYP
Greenstein is the only other player I think one could reasonably debate this against Ivey.
BTW, Hellmuth has won the most NLHE tournaments because he has played in the most NLHE tournaments. He easily plays twice as many tourneys annually as the average pro. |

Source?
I think Hellmuth has been planning his NLHE tournament domination since the beginning of his career, so he started playing them exclusively a lot earlier than other pros. But I don't think he's playing many non-WSOP tournies with a buy-in of less than 10K. He doesn't need to. He's too rich. He's too busy with other business ventures. I think Men Nguyen is playing a ton more tournaments on a daily basis than Hellmuth is (albeit $300 daily's, but still...). |

| Ivey's got a good chance of winning if he doubles up once...then he will take it to all the other players. I think his hardest competition will be jeff shulman or eric buchman. |
