im gonna go ahead and bump this because i have a few interesting posts
#1 loosen up alot more in SB and OTB, even CO than what my guide states. especially now that there are more donkish players playing them then before
#2 stick to 100+BIs... i didnt play as many as i thought i needed to play from beforehand, but after playing 2k or so more games, ive noticed that WOWWWWWWW..the variance is huge. Its not uncommon to go 30+ BIs on a downswing.. and i went over 60BIs once (there is a thread somewhere..lol..it was awful)
#3 shove wider HU. The blinds are huge at this point, and you really want to steal as much as possible.
#4 Not many people have actually commented on this. This is the most detailed guide ive found on the web so far, and i think i havent covered everything.. if ANYONE that is good at these wants to help me fix this guide up..give me a PM
im going to playing these till the end of may (BAPs FTW???) and i will be posting interesting things im finding out, because the style is apt to change based on the 45man STs coming out |

| Very comprehensive and accurate guide, I've played these but not with real success. Mainly breaking even. I prefer turbos, it finds the perfect balance. |

How are you utilizing PT in these games? I assume the normal stats for regular turbo or non-turbo SnGs don't help much. Do you pretty much just need PFR and PF call for the most part?
I've never played the ST SnGs before, but if I'm understanding correctly, the general idea is to stick to a pretty standard range for shoving in each position (slightly adjusted for notes on maniacs, nits, etc.) and when calling a shove, it should be with a range slightly tighter than you would shove with from the position of the raiser? |
