I don't have stats on villian as my poker tracker is being weird tonight. He is a pretty solid player though, so I have no reason to think he is getting too crazy here.
I am obviously not folding here, I'm just wondering what the best way to play this is. Do I call here and see what the turn brings, or do I just ship it now as I am likely a slight favorite?

He checked his BB preflop so I don't think it's possible that he has a big Queen like AQ or KQ and is protecting his hand. Maybe he hit 2 pair with 97, Q9, or Q7, which would make a lot of sense. Maybe he was slowplaying a big pair preflop and thinks you're betting with a weak Q or 9.
Hands that have you crushed are flush draws with overcards like AsKs, AsQs and KsQs, and I don't think any of these are possible considering his preflop action.
He might have 6-8 or 8-10, in which case you have him crushed.
The hands you really have to worry about are A-rag, K-rag, and Q-rag of spades, which he definitely could have checked from the BB. If you shove, he is not getting the pot odds to call with a naked flush draw, and you might also get a fold from Ks-Xs if he thinks you have the nut draw.
If you flat his raise here and he does have one of the higher flush draws, you're going to lose all of your money later in the hand when it hits anyway, so get it all in right now when you will get calls from lots of hands you are favorites against, and folds from hands that you only have a small edge against or have you beat like Ks-Xs.
OESD+FD on the flop is almost always a shove IMO. |

| Unless you have a really strong read that he'll fold most of the time if you shove, it would be a bad idea to get it all in on a coinflip on the bubble with the 2nd biggest stack. If he has 2 pair or better hes not folding here, and if he has a 1 pair type hand or worse he'll usually check behind the turn if you call giving you a free look at the river. From my experience in a situation like this with 2 big stacks equal size on the bubble, I'd say he would have 2 pair or better at least half the time, making a shove a bad play. |

| im not calling to fold away a 6k pot on a ace turn. ship it in now you have plenty of fold equity too and you are ahead of basically everything. |
