Sooooo Sicccckkk
http://www.bluffmagazine.com/poker-news/Tom-Dwan-Issues-the-Million-Dollar-Challenge-1705.htm

“I’m making this heads-up challenge to the world. Anyone can accept. Four tables, minimum of $200/$400, and I’ll put up $1.5 million to their $500,000. We play 50,000 hands minimum and if they end up a dollar after rake they keep the side money or whatever. So basically, if you and I played and you won a dollar, you would get my $1.5 million and if I won a dollar I would win your $500,000.

“So I’m giving a million dollars free if anyone thinks they can do it.”

My guess is there will be no shortage of offers on this, not because he is a donk, but more because lots of people are going to want to attempt to put his ego in check.

If 500k was < half my bankroll even by .1% I would take him up on this. I don't think I'm awesome at HU or anything. But I think the experience would be priceless. Especially with the chance that I could just run sick hot for 50k hands and win a cool million.

Looks like Ivey took him up on the challenge yesterday... and suprise, Durrrrr is kickng his @$$. Well not so much durrrrr as the dealer given that if you look at the largest pots played in the past 24h of highstakesdb all of them involved them and durrrrr won twice as many of them while actually holding the best hand only twice. One was a coller set over set the other he turned the str8 on Ivey's set but most of the $ went in at that point. Other than that Ivey won twice while durrrr was only in sigle digits % to win. But don't let the durrrrr worshipers in the other two threads know that this guy runns better than usain bolt. Despite big pot after big pot that shows this, its simply not possible. This is just a small sample, so go back at the largest pots played in the past year in omaha. Durrrr won 3/6, whcih I belive is all 3 he played, but again was a big dog in 2 of them and collered the other guy with a set +fd against the wrap +fd, and the other guy still had the same % as durrrrr had in the 2 he sucked out on.

I checked his sharkscope and it says:

-ROI (-13%)
-$5K profit

but then it says... 63 games played

"durrrr" <<< I am searching the right name?

If I am searching name, his max profit hits $27,500, but then it spikes into the negatives really fast. Assuming thats from the PLO 25K HU

And here lies the problem.

Sharkscope is misleading at the best of times, especially to those who don't have a clue how to read it and interpret the figures.

1. The sample size you're using is too small. It makes the findings insignificant.
2. The amount is smaller than his average pot size. Just because he's X amount down, thats a pretty small swing at the stakes he plays.
3. 2 large buyin tournies (25k PLO & 25k NLHE) totally skew any results if they're in there or in OPR

"Lies, Damn lies and statistics" seems the appropriate saying here imo.

R u serious? You would end up losing the other half of your roll just through the 50k hands without the 500k you'd owe if (when) you lost the bet. I can't disagree that the experience would be phenomenal.

Sorry if this was some sort of level...
