stevie is right...tom dwan is definitely top 3 cash best cash game player..
before the durrrr challenge...tom says he could fight any1 but Mr. Phil Galfond (Omgclayaiken). I feel sorry for all those donks who think they know all the poker stuff but only has ,55$ in their account. Dwan has won tons of millions online and hes actually on a down swing. So, what donks are saying is, when durrrr is running good hes awesome, and when he's losing he has gambling problem? Wake up there |

LOL at this. Hellmuth is excellent against average to weak players and even some good players in large field tournaments. In fact, he's so good that not many people could successfully argue that he isn't. The record speaks for itself.
However, he spews money at the cash tables. I put him as a slightly below average player. He's not a total donk, but clearly gets outplayed at the highest stakes. He makes poorly timed bluffs that don't make sense and long calls that are seldom right. The good high stakes cash players love to play against him for a reason. At these stakes, he's the fish. |

That I would like to see - pots go back and fourth online all the time between them, they are both so good (with the exception of classing Ivey as better because he has more titles and been around longer) I think the difference between them is marginal.
I think over the long term Dwan will beat Antonius, but if Ivey has accepted Dwans challange, I'd LOVE to see it - I couldnt pick a winner. |

theres an interview with PA talking about how he is really disappointed that this is taking so slow because dwan is playing HSP and NBC heads up championship, and not paying much attention to this challenge
btw, dwan is playing fantastic in HSP. every move he does seems to work, especially against the super tight eastgate. |

Toss up between PA and Ivey. Durrrr would get manhandled by either. |

Both of these events ended some time ago. They are just airing on TV, but they aren't new games by any means. |

yes, what i meant is that this challenge was paused somehow because of Dwans constantly having to play live poker. i know the nbc ended and that HSP is filmed in a few days |

| Durrr has been playing superbly in HSP, but most of the time he is just taking advantage of how super tight Eastgate is. Its actually funny, but it seems like Eastgate is playing early-mid stage of the ME. The thing with the trip 6s and then folding the trip 2s. Don't get me wrong, it still shows that hes a great player, willing to even consider laying such good hands down. But Durrr caught on very quickly and is basically punishing him now whenever he can. |

your absolutely right, he is picking on the correct guy
the tightest player in the table
that trip 2s was an interesting hand, when somebody told me about this hand and how it developed, i was like wtf how can he fold there with trip 2
but now that i seen the hand, all the table was in to that flop. theres a significant chance that someones got a 2 with a better kicker. i am not sure if eastgate would have called that bet with A kicker however, he has played so tight.
i can even say i like the way dwan is playing
zigmund sucks btw |
