I was playing a satellite to the daily dollar this afternoon. We were 4 handed and one of the big stacks seemed to dump chips to the small stack? Or am I overanalyzing the situation? The big stacked player seems to have a decent SNG record according to opr.

That's a pretty horrendous play, but I doubt it's a chip dump. In a chip dump the big stack would usually fold before the showdown so he didn't have to show his terrible hand. I'm guessing big stack just got carried away on a bluff and once he made the raise to 800 on the flop he was pot committed after that. (Not 100% ruling out a chip dump though.)
