Maybe I stayed a little longer with KK on the 2nd hand? Other than that, I have no idea what provoked this guy (Tilerman) to say that I was a bad player. He wouldn't say why, when asked for a reason. So, if there is something I did wrong, please let me know.

1st hand-don't love the preflop raise, but I can accept it. (I don't love it because it's so early)

2nd hand- meh. I'm ambivalent. I don't necessarily feel you have to fold on the flop, but if he fires the turn I'm gone. Then again, a fold on the flop isn't bad either.

3rd hand - I hate. You have a suited Ace, 3 to a wheel, and two to broadway and you LIMP IN? You should be shot.

!st Hand....I'm not wild about the PF raise, but it's alright. I don't like the check OTT. You must be concerned about TJ, but I'd be happy with betting there.

2nd Hand....Fold PF, unless you're pretty sure that it'll be limped around. Check/fold the flop.

3rd Hand....Don't limp PF, and as played, get it in PF.

Why do you care? I would love it if someone at my table had me pegged as a 'bad player' and wouldn't try to change their mind through chat at all. It's to your advantage and trying to change that is more about the ego than being a good player.

Based on these 3 hands, I would also label you a very weak player at this game. I know you're a very strong NLHE player though. I would open fold the first 2 hands without thinking twice about it. They are definitely not playable in the limit version of this game. I guess they can have more value in the PL version since it will be easier to stack someone, but you still rarely want to play a hand that has no shot at the low. KK55 I guess is slightly more playable than KKQ3, but I still fold it. How many flops are gonna help your hand? KKx, 55x, K33, that's about it. Even flops like KQT, AK4, JT5 must be played cautiously. Even when you do hit it hard, you're either not going to get much action, or you'll only get 1/2. The 2nd hand is total garbage and should definitely be folded pre. You're basically only playing with 3 cards. I don't see anything wrong with the 3rd hand, that's definitely a premium hand. You can either limp or raise with it pre depending on how the table's been playing.

After flop:

H1: Check flop, check turn, bet river
H2: Fold to his flop bet.

Your first 2 hands you should have just folded.. Don't get caught up playing pocket pairs in this game because in the long run you're just going to be wasting your money.. This goes for aces as well, unless your aces include an extra low card, to make a low and are suited.. Pushing with AA109 all unsuited is just asking for trouble.

Remember, it's omaha HI and LOW - since you can get a low lock/wrap as a starting hand it's best to stick with these and just take the high hand as a bonus... Playing hands like AKQJ is very temping, and even tempting to raise with but your odds of chasing half the pot are pretty high.. Figure this, there are 8 low cards (A2345678) and 5 high cards (910JQK) - You do the math.. It's more probable for low boards. If you're gonna play high cards it's best to just limp with them.

Simple rule of thumb for me is A, K, or Q suited with 3 to the low that are under 6 including one Ace...
Ks As 4d 5c
Qs Ad 2h 5h
Kd Ad 3c 5s

And the like...

Also, try avoiding putting too much money into the pot preflop in this game... Even if you start out with a great hand, anything can happen on the flop (you raise big with AA109 and flop comes 257, your toast, and hoping for 50% at best) A nice value bet is nice but calling half your stack to see a flop isn't going to work out in the long run.

Another thing to keep in mind with A2. Don't always raise with this, as it gives your hand away, and don't always put tons of money into a pot with 3+ other players on a low board when A2 is the nuts, as there is usually someone else holding the same thing, resulting in you getting quartered, at best.

Just my opinions..
