| You can be profitable in HU games but you have to be willing to Multitable to make it worthwhile. Also, unless you are really bad you do not need a BR of $500 for $10 HU games. $350 is more than sufficient imo. |

www.sharkscope.com
the web page to check stats about player stats allowed by all poker rooms (I think so, or maybe pokerstars does not allow it) |

| Stars don't allow sharkscope and neither do FTP these days. It was explained in the latest answers thread on 2p2. A copy of the post can be found in our general discussion forum (not this one, the one without 'strategy' in the forum name). |

Whenever i would use sharkscope on someone i would find myself playing differently against them. Trust me its better not to look up your opponents. Donkeys can play smart and the best can be idiots sometimes. Better to judge how they play in that game.
That's just my opinion. |

I agree, when I play heads up games I watch his or her statistics after the game. Because if I check it before and I see that he's a fish I start accepting bad decisions. |

Regardless of whether you find out through Sharkscope or what, knowing who is a fish is extremely helpful, because it helps you know whom to isolate. That doesn't mean you should start playing like an idiot against them, just that you should try to see a flop with them HU and IP more often. (Obviously this doesn't apply to HU games.)
You really don't need Sharkscope to tell you who is bad, though. It also doesn't really tell you how they are bad. Your own eyes and a couple orbits is usually enough. (This does apply to HU games.) |
