If you haven't read Harrington on Holdem (Tournaments Vol. 1 & 2), do that first. This will give you a very solid foundation on tournament play in general. There are only 2 decent books on SNG's out there to my knowledge. They are 1.) Sit-N-Go Strategy by Colin Moshman (I would rate it 8 out of 10). And "Online Ace" by Scott Fischman (I would rate it 6 out of 10). If you are already a well read poker player, go with Moshmans book. If not, both Moshmans and Fischmans books will probably help you. I think there are a couple of others, but I didn't buy because of bad reviews on Amazon.com. I also bought one of the most popular E-books on SNG's. But I thought it was a waste of money. One other suggestion (and it's free!) goto www.sitandgoplanet.com. Excellent information there on SNG's. Good luck. |
