I hit a Q-low Badugi after the 1st draw. Should I stand pat on that, or take my chances drawing to a very nice 3-card low. It may be good vs. and other 3-card low hand.

What worries me is that at least (3) opponents are drawing (1), which lessens my chances of a Q-low Badugi holding at showdown.

I'd hold, and bet out. If you're raised you could then discard and try to improve.

Who's that Dark_Helmet9 guy? It'd be super awesome if he had a Spaceballs avatar imo.

I dunno.

My notes on him were:

-seems like 1st time playing
-completely clueless

I search him every chance I get, now.

Yeah, seems like a douche or noob to me. Some sort of douche-noob.

Maybe he has extra coin to donate at Badugi from a monthly Pokerstars sponsorship deal for having the sweetest avatar pic on the site. I dunno, just thinking out loud.

Raise after the 1st draw and pat it, you may be able get it HU or 3 handed. You're not going to improve often enough to make a redraw worth it. Bet it until you have a reason not to(IE, another pat jams). Then you have to fold most often as you're likely drawing to 4 outs at best.

The only problem that I see with raising after the 1st draw is that this table doesn't fold much....so I'm basically juicing up the pot hoping that my Badugi holds 4 or 5-handed.

I also wanted to see if anyone behind me raised, and evaluate the next draws.
