I agree with ^^^ part of your post. Taylor Hicks would have been much better if he had some rhythm and could dance 
Adam is much more dramatic than Chris was and I think that lost him some votes. He will be a version of Kiss.
They both will sell a ton of albums/cd's! |

my brother and i, listening basically to only 80s glam metal, naturally loved adam from day 1. so we werent happy. it was clear that he had more talent than anyone on that stage. and i really hope adam being gay had nothing to do with the votes. because honestly i thought we were past this intolerance bs.
anyway adam is gonna put out a good album and be rich and famous anyway so its not like it matters. congrats to both. |

Absolutely. Adam is pretty good when he refrains from screaming. But everyone who's had to respond to a baby @ 2am was put off by that high pitched whine of his.
Kris also punched up the quality of his performances that last couple of weeks. He really did come from behind and I think a lot of folks like that. |

Is Adam out? I thought he might be gay, but I've never heard a confirmation.
Intolerance will only end when the human species dies out. Until then we'll merely cycle through the things we are intolerant of. |

| I still thought Adam deserved it more overall, but I can't find too much fault with Kris, some of his performances were extremely good (Heartless last week was my personal fav of his). It's not that surprising that Kris won also because his style of music is more in tune with the heart of the American Idol audience moreso than Adam probably. All that said, I would have seen Kris go out 4th, not because I dislike him, but because I liked Allison and Danny a little more. I do think its the best collective top 4 ever so far on the show. |

I was very happy to see Kiss perform with Adam, awesome indeed!
I don't think I can stomach another season of AI again. Adam clearly should've won, not only is he a far more talented singer than Kris, but a much better showman as well. It would've done a lot of good to have a rocker win. How much more mediocre, mainstream music do we need? It's time to bring back sexy, loud, in-your-face rock! |
