The thread about childhood got me thinking. My childhood occurred in the 70's (5-15) I got my first full time summer job in 1981. Music became an important part of my life in the 70's and to this day I'm a huge enthusiast. Here's the game. Fill in the missing word, name the song and the band or singer. All songs from the 70's.

I'll start with 3, then add as you answer.

1) I said calling all trucks, this here's the duck, and I'm about to put the __________ down.

2) But we just can't find the __________

3) We can send it rocketing _____________

Good Luck.

Ok, probably wrong on these but I try.

1. don't know that one you got the answer already though

2. Door
Joe Walsh
Life's been good

I am pretty sure this is wrong but the word is Door pretty sure, just not sure of what song

3 Away, maybe
Deep Purple
Space truckin'

Ok, I figure I am wrong on the two songs but hey I tried, do some more though, I like rock n roll from the 70's Put in some Zepplin and I will get em..
Peace

Here goes, some soft balls-some heaters:

1) Out of work, I'm out of my head, out of self respect, I'm out of bread, I'm __________ ___________, I'm _________ ....

2) When I played my guitar I made the __________ rock.

3) All around the day, was going down ________.

4) From where I stood I saw she was _____________.

5) When I hear you on the car radio you're gonna be a ____________.

Anyone else feel free to post lyrics.
