that's the point. i fully expect that indeed. not from a real beginner who posts in beginners, but I do indeed expect ppl who post in strat to read the stickies before posting and I do indeed expect ppl to use the search function. I do that (and did it from the start) and everybody with a little comon sense does that also. I certainly don't think it is asked to much from anybody, to put a little time and effort (like maybe a min. to use the search function) instead of just clustering everything up and expecting others to do the work for him. that is rude.

i agree we should be helping and welcoming. i can't think of a single post where I haven't. I am sure I answered hundreds of 'why are the freerolls restricted', 'how can I show my hands', 'where are the realmoney tables' kinda threads in beginners.
I don't even care if the question there has been asked 100 times before, as long as it is in beginners.

I never played poker in my life prior to 12/1/08. Never deposited and my BR is now 24.83 + 11T$ + 5.3 Million in play chips ( grinding the 500 K and all sorts of FRs ) , waiting for $50 before I start playing for cash. Also Mr Nice Guy on the forum.
Not truly amazing stats I know.

However can I point out that I'm not interested in winning a stake. I don't play tournaments at all and am adequately rolled for my ring games so any stake / prize would be much better served going to someone who'd appreciate it.
The prestige associated with title "Best new poster" would be reward enough IMO |

Well I'm an idiot and busted a good chunk of my roll playing O8 (I will soon edit my sig to indicate my thought on cash games).
I will therefore be applying for this stake  and I'll start writing up something after dinner. |
