I just dl'ed poker tracker omaha to get a look at my stats at $25 6max PLO. Over about 1100 hands, I'm running around 20/8/1.2 (VPIP/PFR/Total AF). My preflop AF is at around .6, while it's about 3 on all post-flop streets. I guess there's no EV graph or anything with PTO, or at least I couldn't find it.
The ratio of VPIP/PFR seems ok, maybe a little agro compared to the 3:1 or 4:1 that I've been reading about, but I should be seeing more flops I guess. The weakest I really limp/call with now is 3 high connected/semiconnected cards with a dangler (AQTx, KQJx, sometimes even JT9x) or medium single/double gapped rundowns (9864, 8754, J986), and these hands usually need to be at least single suited for me to want to play. What other types of hands should I be opening with, and should I adjust by loosening up in LP mainly while leaving my EP range similarly tight? It looks like I'm loosing a sh**load of money from the SB, so maybe I need to stop completing or calling with the discounted price since I'm OOP and just loosen up in position.
Of course the sample is kind of small to tell whether losses in each position are attributed to misplay at that level or just bad luck in that position once or twice, but at least my VPIP/PFR/AF are pretty reliable indicators of my play style. |
