Almost out the 35k... the opener was opening kind of light, and the table was pretty loose in general so just shoving here seemed fine... expected to get called by alot worse. AA sucks though obv =[

On the JJ hand I'm ok with flatting the flop, especially if the villain seems spewy (raising is my default fwiw), but definitely raise the turn imo. The river that came is a damn good reason for why to raise the turn and luckily he didn't have a club.

I was super worried about him having 2 clubs there... not sure why but he I think I saw him lead out with a flush draw for pot before (didn't take a note on it).

In hindsight though I completely agree with you... flatting the turn is super ugly, and I didn't really have a good plan for any rivers that didn't fill me up.

yeah I mean even if he's got two clubs we've got outs to fill up and he'll probably call a raise with a ton of worse hands even if he is better than the average player in a tournament such as this one. If there aren't two clubs on the flop I love flatting the flop, since there is a FD out I generally raise it, but I don't think flatting is bad (flatting the turn is way way worse imo). It depends a lot on how many FDs are in his range, etc.

And also, if you're worried about him having two clubs then raise the flop! But seeing monsters in the closet isn't the same as having a solid read.

I was flatting flop because I was pretty confident he was potting pretty much every turn, but ure right I got a little nervous there and it didn't really make sense. If im worried about a club falling on the turn, I have to raise the flop... I wasn't that worried on the flop but the second the turn fell i thought to myself "oh crap clubs".

Stupid on my part in hindsight.

Thanks for advice
