My company does an office SNG about once a month. This week will be the 3rd time we have done it and I have won it the first two times. The prize is 400 Shekels (~$110 USD). As I have won both times I figure that I will be the one people are aiming at.
I expect that there will be about 15 people in this game and it will be NL Hold'em.
So I figure need to think a bit about how to approach it this time. I have a rep as someone is who is tight and makes hands. I don't think I had to bluff once in ether game.
So what do people recommend for how to approach this. |

| I say continue what you've been doing...If you won the last two weeks I would say your game is good enough that you wouldn't need to make a serious adjustment to your playing style. |

Play your style and you will do just fine.
This a general strategy:
Low blinds: Play tight
Medium blinds: Open up a little more, but still be some what conservative
High blinds: Play aggressive (your image is tight and you will be played back if they really have a hand)
Keep an eye on the different stack sizes and you own. Don't steal if a small stack is on the blinds.
And the main thing: Have fun at the table!!!
Good luck with it and keep posting those results. |
