howdy doo full tilt poker community,

I'm sure these questions have been asked many times before but I figured I'd make a new thread and hopefully ask them in a complete and clear way, plus, I'm too lazy too sift through all the previous threads to find my answers Razz.

1) Ok. So the sit n' learns qualify you for freerolls that occur on the second saturday of every month. If you place in those you are entered into a 5000$ cash prize tourney corrrect?

2) Now I've seen other people say there are block A-B-C-D etc.. sections for the free roll tourney. Do all these sections play at the same time? Can you qualify for multiple sections and if so what is the max? If you do qualify for multiple sections can you play 1, 2, 3 etc.. of them simultaneously to increase your chances of qualifying for the cash tourney?

3) I've also read people say that once you use a sit n' learn to successfully qualify for a monthy tourney you can never ever use that sit n' learn to qualify again. Is this correct?

4) Also, I've read that placing in the top 1000 more than 2-4 times is a waste of your sit' n learns since they cannot be used again. I understand that the reason for doing this is to take up multiple spots in the qualifier tourney and reduce the number of entrants therefore increasing your chances to place in the top 100 but at the same time not using up too many of them on only 1 tournament. This is also tied into what I was asking about before : if you can qualify for multiple sections of the same tourney. If this were the case then it is obvious that using 2,3,4,5 of your sit n' learns is advantageous because then if you lose in section A, B, C etc.. you still have a chance to qualify in D or E. However, if it is not the case that you can qualify for multiple sections it seems like an awful waste for people to use handfuls of sit n' learns to reduce the number of entrants in a given tournament by a very marginal amount.

5) Lastly, if you take a sit n' learn and fail to qualify in the top 1000 for that sit n' learn can you still use that sit n' learn in the following months for qualification attempts or is it also void once used?

Sorry if this post is a little long and somewhat redundant but I would really appreciate if someone could clarify these issues for me so I can assess how to best use my sit' n learns , especially if you can only use each one once?

Good Luck Everyone,

Yes. So you better do a S-n-L quick - only 8 hours to go for this month.

2) Now I've seen other people say there are block A-B-C-D etc.. sections for the free roll tourney. Do all these sections play at the same time? No block sections for the tournies. There are about 20 or so Saturday qualifiers that qualify you for Sunday. Getting in the top 100 in one of them is as good as winning all 20. They all get you to the same place.

3) I've also read people say that once you use a sit n' learn to successfully qualify for a monthy tourney you can never ever use that sit n' learn to qualify again. Is this correct?

I don't think so. This is due to the fact that FTP gets very lazy in creating the new S-n-Ls that go with the new lessons each month. Also due to the fact that FTP messes up alot with these. You shouldn't need more than 3 or 4 SnLs to qualify for the Sunday tourney.

4) Also, I've read that placing in the top 1000 more than 2-4 times is a waste of your sit' n learns since they cannot be used again. Yes, it's a TOTAL waste of time to overqualify. Qualify for a few, just in case you get knocked out. But once you win one, you're golden. Even if you knock the 100th person into 101st place, he's bound to qualify in one of the other tournies.

5) Lastly, if you take a sit n' learn and fail to qualify in the top 1000 for that sit n' learn can you still use that sit n' learn in the following months for qualification attempts or is it also void once used?

Like I said, they still work the next month. Don't worry about making the top 1000 - if you get ONE question right, you'll qualify.

No prob. For the record, each Satruday tourney ususally has about 100-250 people register. 100 of those advance to Sunday. All tolled, Sunday gets about 600-700 people, due to duplicates and whatnot.
