Online Poker Forum - Question concerning rake in Daily Dollar & $0+$0.10 tourneys

This looks like a beginners question, that's why I posted in the Beginners Section..

The Daily Dollar has a unique $1 buy-in, and I assume it all goes to the Prize Pool..
Does that mean there's no rake involved? I guess what i mean is: you don't get FTP's when you register?

And in the same topic..

In the $0 + $0.10 Rebuy tournament, the 10 cents are considered as rake?
If this is the case, only the $0.50 Rebuys go to the Prize Pool?

I'm a little confused..

yep theres no rake for the daily dollar OR the ferguson (i think those are the only 2). and yes, only the 50c rebuys go towards the prize-pool in the 10c rebuy.

whenever you see a tournament buy in as $xxx + yy , the yy is the rake (tournament fee), and the xxx is the buy-in. you only get ftp's based upon the fee, not the buy-in.
