Just wanted to see what you all thought of this hand. I did the math at the table at figured I was roughly 40% to win on the flop (I was assuming I was up against 2 sets), which gives me the implied odds to make the move I did, Given that I was pretty damn sure this was gonna be a set of queens vs. a set of kings (I was a little surprised to see the 7's), and I believe I had pot odds to call bt's all-in. I checked the odds on card player and saw I was a little over 35% to win on the flop (not quite what I hoped, but that was because of bt holding a draw to a higher flush. I checked the odds again changing the 4 to a spade, and my 40% was just about right on).

Forget donkey. You had 3-9's, 3-10's, 3-J's and 4-A's drawing to the nut straight. Those are omaha draws to dream about. It was a blessed hand. 13 outs on the flop, I'd be drooling.

Right, that's what I thought, I classify pretty much all hands with 13+ outs as nut-busters (hands I have no problems betting at the current nuts with), but since this one was borderline, I figured it was worth looking up.

For future reference, when you go heads up you'll need about 20 outs to be even money against top set. When a set vs. set situation arises like this, you can easily make the move with a straight wrap. Good analysis on your part and nice play.
