|

Dear Full Tilt Poker:
The heads up cash players at Full Tilt Poker are not getting as many points as rake would indicate. While points are not great value in and of themselves, they are a meter by which FTP measures clearance of bonuses and their Iron Man program. The FTP website states "For each dollar raked from a pot, every player who was dealt cards for that hand will receive 1 Full Tilt Point." This means that heads-up players receive less points per each dollar they pay in rake than a full ring player. It should also be noted that six max players are also affected, but in a smaller way. While the points themselves are not a big amount of rakeback, it is incredibly difficult for heads-up players to participate in some promotions like the Iron Man program.
This is a problem because the current system encourages players to play six-max cash instead of heads-up cash even if they were to prefer heads-up. This means that less people get to play their preferred game, because they might be worried about losing their 36 months of Iron Man.
PokerStars used to have a similar issue with their rewards to heads-up players. But PS listened to their customers and now awards five VPP per dollar raked on heads-up tables. I would like a similar solution to this problem on FTP, either by awarding seven points per dollar raked (split between two players) or by increasing the amount of FTP points earned by at least three fold. Thank you for your consideration of my suggestion.
Respectfully,
Igor Polyakov |
