I had an Acorn Electron.
It was brilliant. It had about 6 games, the best being Daredevil Dan and if you were willing to sit and enter code for twelve hours you could make the text turn blue.
Hands down best console ever is the PSone and 'Hoggs of war' was the greatest game ever made. |

Commodore 64 with tape deck. Frogger was one of my first games I think. Dad bought a pack of 6 games and only 4 of them actually worked. When we upgraded to the floppy disc system I played Street Rod non stop.
I still have hogs of war ozzy, could never beat the last stage tho. |

Worked at an all Apple dealership in 1989. Even with an employee discount , the Mac + and an ImageWriter II was $4350 and RAM was $500 for a 1 MB SIMM. Eventually I bought a Mac Classic for $850 with 2.5 MB of RAM. Then I got a IIci with Monitor for $1650.
Never owned a video game.
I even worked at Apple for a few years and still just have an old original iBook , an old Airport and a Mac Mini around anymore. I currently use an ancient E Machines unit someone threw away. Don't get me wrong both my children attend college and have nice Laptops. My wife has a new dell desktop. I just have always refused to pay for a unit for myself. |
