While I'm at it here is a picture of my first hand held electronic game
I bought a little switch and resistor from radio shack that I mounted on the left side to cut off the speaker. It had no sound control from the factory. That way I could play it in church
I found that if I used a brand new 9 volt battery I could acheive higher scores |

Apple IIe, the DOS didn't work, had to boot from 5.25" floppy. Played the hell out of the summer olympics game on it. I remember the diver was a straight line and you couldn't tell the head from the feet. So trying to do as many spins as possible and go in straight, while a great strategy in theory, never really knew if you went feet or head first until the score were give. 4.x = feet first 9.x or 10 = head first.
First console game I remember playing was Super Mario Bros. NES. I did have an Atari though with pong and a battle tank type game. |

My brother had Coleco Vision and, I think, Atari, but my first console was NES. I got it the year it came out. It remains the most badass gift I've ever received for Christmas.
My first computer was an IBM. Don't kn ow the model number, but it was a 386, with maybe 2 mb of ram. Windows 3.1, I think. |

| There's a good thread on this subject from not too long ago, but I suck at using the search feature properly. I remember either having or at least playing each system in this thread so far. |
