I had VP of 9 for 93 hands at the table before making this raise. My question is how often are you calling UTG here with small suited connecters agaisnt two TAG players?
A more reasonable scenario: How often are you calling in the BB?
Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) - Converter Tool from
BB ($28.76)
UTG ($9.75)
UTG+1 ($9.40)
MP1 ($25)
MP2 ($12.50)
Hero (CO) ($10.92)
Button ($29.45)
SB ($18.67)
Preflop: Hero is CO with A , A
UTG calls $0.25, 3 folds, Hero bets $1, Button calls $1, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.75
Flop: ($3.35) 2 , 8 , 6 (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4, 1 fold, UTG calls $4
Turn: ($11.35) 4 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $5.92 (All-In), UTG calls $4.75 (All-In)
River: ($20.85) 9 (2 players, 2 all-in)
Total pot: $20.85 | Rake: $1.04
Results:
UTG had 7 , 5 (straight, nine high).
Hero had A , A (one pair, Aces).
Outcome: UTG won $19.81 |

I'd probably call a decent amount of time from the BB with BTN (and possibly UTG) in the hand, depending on raise and stack size.
Concerning the hand, why'd you raise smaller than pot pre and then overbet the pot on a dry flop? If they're staying in, you might as well pot it or 5x it pre, and then bet smaller on the flop. You'll still set yourself up for a shove on the turn, but you won't be blowing out hands that might call a normal-sized bet on the flop. |

Yeah, I'd never call with effective stacks of 40bb. LOL, I couldn't figure out why he was able to shove the turn with such a small amount behind. I thought $12.50 was 100bbs for some reason. Reload please. |

| Basically what HuJwang said. Judging by UTG's similar 40BB stack, he's an idiot and doesn't know any better, nor does he know you've been playing as tight as you were on that table. Sucks this one time, but that's why we love donks all the other times. |
