how do you become a full tilt pro? obviously the quilty of your play is a factor, but is it a select group or can you fill out some sort of application?
What are the benefits of bein a ful tilt pro? Does FT pay for a percentage of your buyins? is there no rake taken? What are the advantages? |

First off you have to try out.
You run an obsticle course (alligator pits, walls with spikes and machine gun fields).
If you make it through that alive then you are tested for mental prowness. You get ink blot tests and other tests that are secret it seems.
Then the color test, you have to be able to see the color red it appears.
After all that they then look at how you play poker and background checks (to make sure you are not some sort of religous zealot or CIA or FBI operative).
Then, the final test.
Does anybody know who the hell you are? Do you have name recognition etc etc etc.
Seems to me they should do that last one first to avoid all the other hoops to jump through but hey, it is their business, they can do it however they want I supppose.
So, in answer to your question you have to be a pro it seems and if they want you they will offer you a contract to sign.
As for benefits, full medical and dental insurance, all the hookers you can handle and your very own access to the DOOMSWITCH. Fun fun fun, doomswitching donkeys who runner runner you. You'll love it!!! |

Just make sure you're not a freak, nor a very weird dude.
Also it helps to have knee pads.
...okay, that last thing I was joking, it was in bad taste. But seriously, I wonder whose ---- has to be ----ed in order for a winning online MTT'er to get signed, since so many good ones have blogged about getting rejected, and yet often there's a new Red Name that you look up and say "huh? WHO?" |

Well I will try to answer since there is still no serious response in this thread (even by a moderator... Seriously, don't you guys have some sort of responsibility?)
To become a full tilt pro you most likely have to be offered it. This meaning you play very well and make a really big impact on your poker career that really shows (durrrr for example).
As for benefits, well bragging rights if you want. It's not easy to be considered a pro on a well established poker site. Also, I believe when you're a pro you must log a certain amount of hours each week and I wouldn't be surprised if they get payed for it. |

The mod was being serious... Just ask Jimmy Fricke...
Also, I'm sure the OP appreciates your serious response, but everything you've written is a guess...
I agree with everything Alex said... Except for the part where people need to know who you are. I have no idea who most of the red 'pros' are... |

If you're a winning player online (100-200.000 dollars), or if you win a big live tournament, you will probably be asked to join the pros.
At least that's what I noticed most "red pros" have, either big online winnings or first place at some live tournament. |

What more do you want? The rest was for comedic effect. |
