If you take a look at your winnings and you compare them to the rake you made for full tilt, what is that ratio for you?
I started playing with $50 in june, made $1500 ($1100 in HU S&G's and $400 in cash games) in 3 months
I noticed that S&G players can see how much they exactly raked on sharkscope ( enter name - click on it - more options - miscellaneous data - total rake )
I'm up $1500 but I raked $642 in tourneys and at least a hundred in cash games.
So for every $3 I win on the site I give $1 to FTP (so I win $2 and donate $1). I think that's a whole lot to give.
How is that ratio for you?
I got 12% ROI heads up which is quite high, so I can imagine that the ratio is even worse for many other winning players playing at 7% ROI for example.
Friends of mine break even but rake in the same amount of money for the site.
Bottom line: It's very important to have a good rakeback deal. I signed up with rakebackpro's but still I think I donate a lot
Feel free to enter your winnings or losses here (if you want to) and compare them to your total rake. It makes you realise how much money FTP is actually making off you |

| That's some nice winning there. If you don't have rakeback, I suggest that you try to obtain it. Sign up at rakebackpros.com and send a nice e-mail to FTP. As you move up in stakes, rake will take less % obviously, but its also harder to win. $20 looks about right for you I'd say if you can maintain it. |

I signed up with rakebackpro's in the last month I played, but 60% of my games were played without rakeback. I'm not sure if sharkscope calculated my rakeback in the last 40% of the games.
Anyway I think I should stop playing turbo S&G's, my 12 ROI is good for turbo HU but it would be way better if I only played regs. + the variance got me going on my last day and I lost 20% of my roll in less than 2 hours
What is your winnings vs rake ratio?
I think I should chose different games so I can make more money off them, I can barely beat poor players in HU turbo - especially PLO |

Look me up on sharkscope and then OPR and you won't believe its the same guy tbh. I don't play many SNGs since I'm roughly a breakeven player in them currently, negative if you consider more than 2 years back as well. I make my money playing MTTs, and I do OK in cash games. When you FT one of those MTTs, you really don't care what the rake is for at least a week.
If I had to guess though, I'd bet that for every 2-2.5 dollars I've ever made in total, FT probably got $1 from me in rake. |
