Hey, this is my first topic here, so Im not really sure im posting this right. Pls correct me if not.

My question is; How do you know, when your ready to move to higher stakes tables? (Ring Games)
I have ben playing on 0.10 sb 0.25 with a 25$ buy in since friday, mostly multitapling with two tables at a time. So far i have turned 30$ (depositted friday) into 320$ this way. Im am able to read the kind of opponents on these tables, and turn it into a long time profit - but will it be the same against the players at the higher tables? When do you think I should move up in the world and maybe play 0.25 sb 0.50 bb tables?

hi and welcome to the forums.
well that depends on whether or not you are willing to deposit again if you go busto.

if you cannot afford/don't want to deposit again, you should not move up until you have a decent roll.

a general BR rule is that you would want to have 100 buy ins to play a certain level.

great job on turning 30 into 320! maybe you are really crushing this limit. maybe you were just running hot.
if i was you i would stay there for a while and see which one it was (and built up the bankroll further by doing so)

How many hands have you played at this limit? If it s less than 10,000 you could just be on a heater and probably need closer to 100K to understand if you are crushing 25NL.

Im not sure... Maybe played a hundred sessions, so 10.000 hands sounds reasonable.
I feel like Im winning because of skill and not luck - but i might be wrong. Ive fittet my game in to rippin the fish, as they occur often - they might dissapear on a higher lvl to.

Update: Im now up to 410 from the 30 dollars

If you dropped below 250 I'd move down to the 5c/10c level as you would have only 10 full buy-ins for the 10c/25c level.

i feel that unless ur doin this for a living 100BIs is alittle overkill
around 50BIs is plenty for variance if ur a winning player

I think even 50BIs is overkill for 25NL. You can generally get away with as little as 20-25 at small/micro stakes.

I paid out 300..
Even though i dont have 25, 50 or a 100 BI's on my Full Tilt Account, doesnt mean that i dont have it IRL. So i think Im gonna go on at this lvl maybe play the 5/10 cent tables occationally Smile
