So I got a letter from Wells Fargo saying they will no longer be authorizing transactions to gambling (read: poker) sites as of December 1st.
Here's a really n00b question: what am I suppose to use to deposit if I need to? In the four years I've been playing on full tilt (and posting here), I've always skipped over every post pertaining to withdrawals and deposits.
I ignored these posts because I've always been able to instantly deposit using my Wells Fargo card, and when I request checks they show up at my door within a week.
Should I panic and deposit a ton money before 12/1? |

I could have sworn I posted this in the "General Discussion" area. I've only had one beer what the hell. Doesn't compute.
On a separate note, why is "Wells Fargo" censored like a bad word, i.e. **** ****?
I knew that "wells" got censored but I always thought that Rick did that as a joke because of all the stupid dumb wells that everyone was starting. |

| I would open an account at the local credit union out here in The Sticks. They don't seem to mind transfers to poker sites. |

It's because that was once one of the check processors, or maybe it still is. |

No, but I would consider you switching your personal account to another bank, period. Go ahead and keep your music biz acct. @ WF if u desire.
Kinda like what Honkythunder said... LA has to be friggin' crawling w/ available credit unions. |

Ok... well I know you can buy prepaid Visa cards at gas stations over there in the USA
I did a similar thing just now, paid £25 for a Ukash voucher at some shop... put the code in on here and the deposit was done in 2 minutes. |

This ^^, Gary I use a prepaid Visa from netspend works everytime so far, netspend .com can tell you where to find them in your area, It does cost 3.95 to reload but as good a pokerz player as you are this should just be a one time charge.
After 12/1 it may not be deposits that are an issue but the withdrawl part. If I ever win enough i would ask one of the trusted forumers in another country to withdraw for me and give them a cut for doings so and to cover any taxes they may be resposible for, then they could send me a check or money order or something. |
