No reads on villain. I had been trying to play more hands so I was seeing the flop about 20%. I don't remember exactly but there were between 15-25 people left.

barhopper_1 (SB): t5210 M = 3.66
Hero (BB): t21435 M = 15.04
NikKom1980 (UTG): t9407 M = 6.60
RIOTYSON (UTG+1): t38635 M = 27.11
RiverRattinITUP (MP): t4855 M = 3.41
Rablerr (CO): t2990 M = 2.10
sotexconn (BTN): t9815 M = 6.89

Pre Flop: (t1425) Hero is BB with 9 Heart 8 Heart
4 folds, sotexconn raises to t1200, 1 fold, Hero calls t600

Flop: (t3225) 6 Diamond 7 Diamond 9 Spade (2 players)
Hero checks, sotexconn bets t1200, Hero raises to t3350, sotexconn calls t2150

Turn: (t9925) 3 Club (2 players)
Hero bets t3600, sotexconn calls t3600

River: (t17125) 2 Spade (2 players)
Hero bets t3000, sotexconn calls t1590 all in

I'm shoving the turn since he has about a 1/2 pot size bet behind, and we will get more value from draws that he wont stack off the river with when he misses and keeps his 1500 or whatever it was.

Yeah people are that bad.

shove turn, rest is fine. if he calls any bet OTT he calls a shove. and you never bet turn and fold later

Really? Man I love this hand here with 4.3:1 pot odds and relative stacks vs. button ATC raise. I agree with the call pf, the check raise OTF, and I can't think of a better turn card than this to shove other than one that gives us the straight. Put the pressure on the shorter stack to call all in here.

checkraise preflop is a bit weak...call preflop was defintely right...ya if u checkraise on the flop make it a bit bigger or leading out for about 3000 is fine too but the checkraise is prefered. I think allin is a good move on the flop instead of 2150.

TBH I don't really know why I didn't push the turn, I know it's right play. I guess I was caught a little off guard when he just called my c/r. I was expecting a push/fold.

Jacks? Am I the only person thinks villain played this like a complete moron? Having that said, you're probably not folding after that flop anyway.

you're 15bbs deep so your implied odds with a suited connector mean nothing, not to mention you're OOP and readless...I fold pre.

do you mean you're effectively 15BB's deep, or your M is 15? OP has 35BB's with an M of 15, and BTN raiser has 15BB's

we're effectively 15bbs deep with the BTN, in other words, we have hardly any implied odds with a hand like 98s, which gets most of its value from implied odds
