just moved to table. the guy played the previous two hands poorly (limped in) so im assuming he's pretty bad. is pre alright then?

OTF im assuming i can take it down alot of the time, so is the c-bet good?

OTR his range to me once he checks is missed FD's and small PP's. given this, is betting the river alright or should i just check back?

I see no reason in betting the river tbh. If he has a missed FD, you win if checked down. If he has a low pocket pair, as played he really has to call you here. The only reason to bet river is to avoid letting everyone see what your hand was, but I think early on in the daily dollar a straight forward ABC game is probably best.

Fine with your bet on flop, I'd be fine with a bet on turn also, as played just check hand down. He's not calling with worse and he's not folding better, i.e. any pair here.

i would agree with you here for the most part. any player who has a grain of sense would and should snap this bet right off with hands like 55-99 (likely UTG limping hands). but this guy was pretty piss-poor. most of the time he'd look at the board and say "uh oh, there's a king, 2 3's and 3 clubs out there - i must be beat". i think alot of the time those sort of bad players who are uber-passive would fold small PP's here. FD's i fold out no problem.

does this make any sense, or am i giving these donks too little credit?

bad players, donks don't usually fold good starting hands in my experience... it part of what makes them the bad player, until we try to bluff them. General rule, don't bluff bad players.

EDIT: Also, there's no need for you to fold out a flush draw, may as well check and see what he had.

I think you have a ton of show down value here. Betting the river seems unneeded.

ok thanks for your input guys. i can see what you mean. i was considering checking behind, but then was gripped by an urge to bet it.

fwiw the guy tank-folded, which prob means he had like 55's.
