| I believe he means, you don't need to wait for all the tables to finish before you can play again. As soon as 2 tables eliminate a player, then they get straight into it. This way, you could play more tables then your opponent, and when you meet up with them, you can have a higher chip stack. |

| Imagine you are lucky/unlucky enough to be seated against a "sitting out" player... and it's a non-turbo tourney. It would take you FOREVER to "bust" your opponent, meanwhile the other guys go up the ladder... when you finally win you are headsup at the final -- you get the 2nd-highest payout guaranteed, but with a microstack. However with 5 or 6 suckouts/doubleups you could still take it down... having only played 2 matches. Unfairness ftw? |
