Decent start at 1rst break... I gave back the chips I won from this hand (below) on a KJ where I paired top card but had to give it up when every draw in the world got there... Sitting 6370 for 189/836 at first break. long way to go, I feel good.

Note my chat in blue, last time I check raised this guy (had TP, TK that time) he called time to act like he was thinking then folded... so I went for the "glass tap" this time, hoping maybe he'd drunky shove, lol... I was really hoping he had AA or AK when I check / raised him, when he asked for time, I knew he's missed flop.

Clawed it all the way back and lost from the good end of a flip for a double up plus, woulda had M = 16 if this hand holds for me... Instead I come in 175/1291, 40 away from cashing. Aside from that A9 hand where I got pwned, I felt I was playing pretty well today, unlucky at the end.

I can see calling shorty's AI, but why are we hitting the max switch with TT with three more behind us, better to see what comes of the next 3 b4 we decide to turn up the heat, I understand we want to isolate but would'nt we get the same result with say twice shorty's raise and think anyone who calls or RR most likely has 2 over cards if not a better pair, then we can think about this thing and call if we think we might or fold and still have some play time to catch up again. I'm still learning here so I may be all wrong about this.

I crush shorty's range. If everyone else folds, I'm big favorite to add 1/3 to my stack. Honestly once cards were shown I was pumped, this in puts me ~ 60/175 in chips with M = 17 or so and I'm positioned to run deep. My M is only 6-7, good reshove stack and TT is 5th best starting hand... If I flat here, a blind can re-raise me and my decision is harder, but I'd have to call anyway... so I stuck them in first and give them every chance to fold. Obv. with AK his call is simple and I think correct.

Obviously if min-cashing was like super important here, I could fold into money, but this was a great spot to get chips for a run. I was ~55% to win vs 2 players, and I got my chips in first basically, so I can't be upset by it.

No way you should fold to a mincash thats just lame, thank you for the insight it seems much clearer now.

Which part? The part about losing last torney, or that I should have time to get to play on Tuesday? You know that its 6 months + 200 posts right...

I couldn't help but notice the speed at which you've been posting while I played a short session 12:20-12:40 AM today...
