| adam27x is correct .....the tourney is a way for me to get the value I put into buying the cam...which has never ben used...while giving anyone with 33$ a chance to win a $3000 dollar camera................however if someone did have resonable offer for the cam,and it is recieved today I would cancel the tourney and sell...pm me any offers...look at it frommy point of view ..I don't use it, it just sits in a box collecting dust , when someone out there would probably be makin good film with it |

I am really confused. How do the tournament $ get to Donk Frog?
Even with 100 entries(the $3000 you mentioned) the $ would go to the tournament winner/winners. Do you then expect them to ship you the $? I doubt very much if Fulltilt will take the responsibility of handling the transaction for you.
And if they chose to keep the $ and forget about the camera you are still stuck with it.
Seems like Ebay would be a much better idea. |

| yes the winner would have to transfer the tourney prize funds to host(me)....However to win and not transfer the funds to the host would be in clear violation of written terms in the lobby of the tourney....so no one can say they did not know they had to transfer the funds to get the cam...to try and do otherwise(keep the cash) would result in the supension of the persons tilt account until problem is fixed...at least thats what I was told in a private email from privatetournements support staff.... same thing would happen to my tilt account if i don't ship cam to the winner....everything is on the level here people |

This just sounds wrong on so many levels. You are new to the forum, never posted before this except to try to drum up biz for your pest control company.
Afaik, FTP does not get involved with deals. The tourney is a 30+3, min 100 players, and you agree to supply the said camcorder , one for every 100 entrants. That means if 200 ppl play (not gonna happen) you have to go out and BUY another one to award as the prize.
Besides the fact that FTP do not get involved in private transactions, no where anywhere does it say that the winner must ship their winnings to you to receive the camcorder. And you didnt even specifiy that in the forum, without being pushed for the answer. The winner of this tourney would in no way be obligated to give you anything, you on the other hand would have to be trusted to ship this camcorder, without any guarantee etc of it even working etc, for which the winner would have no recourse.
No one has ever seen you play, and no one has any idea who you are. Why anyone would send you $3000 and then give you their real name and address and sit waiting for you to ship them God know's what, is beyond me. You believing you would find 100 ppl that would fall for this is even more interesting.
Doesnt matter, because you will never get 100 such ppl. I'm thinking you have an uncle in Nigeria who just inherited a million dollars and is just looking for one kind soul here in the US to just send $$$ to help accomodate the transfer of $$, yada yada yada.
This has scam all over it. I suggest you try elsewhere, and see if you can get away with it on ebay, etc lol |

Funny you should mention this Boomer. I was online when I found a place that i could bid on thE BAYer aspirin. So I'm typing in my bid when what should come on the radio? Otis Reddings "Sitting on the dock of thE BAY." I was so happy to hear that oldie.
My dog got excited too as I sang the song, but I don't think she liked my singing as shE BAYed at the sound of my voice.
I needed the aspirin desperately as I was planning another trip down to Atlantic City, and to get there I'd have to travel past olE BAYonne, New Jersey. That place gives me such a headache.
Well that's my story. I hope they develop a place like you suggest. |
