You can't put him on aces after a 3 bet pre. He could easily have JJ, QQ, AK. 99-TT and AQ are not unlikely. So I think your shove is correct.
I pretty much decided I was never going to fold Kings pre. And I think this has worked out for me as plenty of people show up with tt-qq, ak, etc. |

why did you push? because it was the right thing to do.
due to the aggressive nature of online poker, and the vast amounts of idiots playing too, 3-bets no longer mean AA or KK. they can mean anything from 10-10+ or AK/AQ, sometimes even AJ. you happened to run into aces here, and you will run into aces with kings many times in the future. that doesn't mean it was a bad shove. i would shove here every day all over again.
pretty much what fat rugger said. people are just ask likely to turn up with aces and they are with QQ which you crush |

Nope, Just said it four times and only 1 time i was wrong.
Sometimes you just have the feeling in the guts, your mind tells you what is going on here. But like said before, i can't put them down. |

tough one.
I've been in that spot a few times... Where you know you are beat, you can put them on the exact hand you are beat with and you pay it off anyhow... I guess the good news is, you're making the right read, the bad news is, it's the wrong decision
the flip side is, I agree with fat rugger -- KK I'm almost always going with, given that range of hands. Maaaaaaybe, I fold them heads up at the WSOP if I have that 100% feeling that he's got AA in my gut - but at a FT sng, probably not. |

Example of why you shove: people show up with worse even with more pf action:
Full Tilt Poker $20 + $2 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t25/t50 Blinds - 7 players -
The Official Hand History
MP: t2940 M = 39.20
CO: t1620 M = 21.60
BTN: t1025 M = 13.67
SB: t3875 M = 51.67
BB: t1245 M = 16.60
Hero (UTG): t1660 M = 22.13
UTG+1: t1135 M = 15.13
Pre Flop: (t75) Hero is UTG with K K
Hero raises to t150, UTG+1 calls t150, MP raises to t675, 1 fold, BTN raises to t1025 all in, 2 folds, Hero raises to t1660 all in, 1 fold, MP calls t985
Final Pot: t4570
MP shows Q Q
BTN shows A Q
Hero shows K K |
