| in stud, you usually want to see draws for cheap and not put too much money in. This seems like a standard play, although Strasse could certainly have another viewpoint. |

^ not really.
In this situation I would raise. Your hand has good equity with the live spades and semi live straight draw against someone who limps w a 7door. If you were in early pos a limp might be ok as this hand plays really good multiway. |

| If no other spades were showing like here, then your odds are greatly improved of making your draw, although alot of straight outs were showing so it does even it out a bit. :S |
