| I live just outside of Toronto so I'm there. I think they'll get around 10,000 people for the weekend. It's not a bad place but the Metro Toronto Convention Center would've been a better location. This is just outside of Toronto and might hurt the attendence a bit. |

| I'd go if I knew how to play live poker. If I went I'd probably embarrass myself because I have no clue about posting blinds and knowing when it's my turn, since online the software does all that for you. |

Actually besides home games and live freerolls this place may be the best place to learn. You're not putting any money on the table afterall. |

So did I, until I checked out the website and saw the location. It's near Lawrence West subway. |

I'm going tomorrow, but won't get there until around 3pm. I'm gonna be wearing a Montreal Canadiens jersey. If you see me give me a shout. |

I was a little disappointed with the show, as a whole. Not enough vendors. The Full Tilt Poker Tournament Zone saved the expo, for me anyway. I'm guessing it saved the expo for a lot of people. The sngs were fun, and I ended up winning one. Winners of the sngs get a seat in a freeroll for a WPT Spanish Championships package, plus a swag bag with FTP stuff.
There were a few cool booths. Hands Free Poker is definitely something I gotta check out. Another booth had what they called Poker Hoodies, which are basically padded table cloths that you tie down and tighten underneath the table, to get a snug fit. They look and feel really nice, and can save someone a few bucks and space, instead of buying a whole poker table.
Eh, maybe I had more fun than I thought. It was the first expo, so next year it should be better. |
