Hi all,
Thank you all for your patience and understanding with the recent situations surrounding the sit n learns, please know that we are currently re-working the entire sit n learn process for better functionality.
Aside from this, we'd love to gain your feedback on the content aspects of the sit n learn experience.
What would you improve about the sit n learns?
Do you find the information is well organized? Do you find the sit n learn easy or difficult to follow?
Thank you for your feedback! |

I don't know if this is feasible or not, but it would be interesting if the Sit n Learns worked more like the challenges. If we're supposed to be learning specific things from each lesson, couldn't the sit n learn be an extension of the learning experience as opposed to a pure reward? For example - the challenges for Position teach you to lay down certain hands in early position, and bluff or semi-bluff in later position. Why not have rewards during the sit n learn for those same actions, like a $ bonus in-tournament or if you fulfill all 5 (or whatever) challenges, you automatically win entry into the big Sunday freeroll?
Also I think it would be good if people were automatically registered for their eligible sit n learns, as opposed to needing to register manually. I understand that means more "zombie" players, but maybe that would fix the problem of people not being able to register manually. |

| Thanks for your thoughts Ipackard. The sit n learns are actually an interactive quiz that tests your knowledge of the lesson, and based on your score in the sit n learn you may qualify for Freeroll Tournaments on Full Tilt Poker. I hope this clarifies the nature of the sit n learns, keep the suggestions coming! |

I don't think it's a bad thing that you have to manually register for the sit n learn tourneys. Even with the manual registration, there are still a lot of "zombie" players. I don't mind this, except when one of them suddenly "wakes" up and I've already called their BB with a really stupid pr in my hand...... rofl.
Anyhoo, how about, when a person qualifies for more than one shot at the final tourney, like if they are entered in 20 qualifiers, and make it to the final 100, they maybe get $1T or 1 FTP, something like that for taking the time to play all the qualifiers. Just a thought. |

is it necessary for the sit'n'learn qualifiers and freeroll to be on the SAME
weekend as the Ironman and one-a-day freerolls? |

academy si great, best i have seen so far. The only thing need be made is to order the freerolls, since its a monthly mistery how and when will they run.
Also clarify the "one time" restriction, many of us old academy supporters know they can be played more than once, but one month this was suddenly changed, now its back to normal. IF you decide to restrict this again, please RESET all players history so we get a chance to take one freeroll a month and not loose the chance to play all of a sudden, this in consideration to our patience and feedback in the long "setup" process, for example this month that we dont know if the freerolls will be played at all.
Maybe limiting to 10 the number of times a particular freeroll can be played will give more players a chance to qualify and play them (like the challenges rule)
alltogether i have enjoyed the academy, and learned lots from it, so keep up the good work
cheers

| Agree. Hope you can solve the problems with monthly freeroll tournament. It is very frustrating. First, having to search for them without knowing when they will come up. Then to find registration problems which restrict us from registering. Why can some register and others cannot? Is there not some way you could post an announcement on the FTA home page about the time and method of registering for these tournaments? Any help will be appreciated. Otherwise, I too have enjoyed participating in the Academy. |

The sit and learns are a great way to get insights into the game. It would be good to publish the day and time of the freeroll tournament on the MyAcademy page. As noted by other posters - it's a mystery.
I noticed one small formatting glitch on the sit and learn pod of the My Academy Page - the tabbing doesn't work when the first listed challenge wraps around and after you have clicked on the page numbers the font goes bold and fuzzy... weird. |
