He was the only won voted in out of the 9 nominees. The other 8 were Ivey, Negreanu, Greenstein, Seidel, Harrington, Scotty and Men Ngyuen and Tom McEvoy... geez, imagine those 8 at your table!

ONLY Mike Sexton? Not that he's not deserving but damn the other 8 have probably 50 WSOP bracelets and 3 ME championships.

I was surprised too that he was the only one selected out of that impressive list of nominees.

I can't believe greenstein and harrington didn't get in, but this is a well deserved honor for mike sexton too. His work in furthering the game of poker had to be the deciding factor here.

Still a shame to see so many deserving names not going along with him.

I mean, Ivey and Negranu's age come into play but seriously, the other 6 have got to get in. How exclusive is this club anyway?

Sounds like a great HOF if it is that exclusive.
He is a great player who did a great job spreading the game in the TV age.
