Does that mean no more FTP pros allowed to play on HSP?

pokerstars is going to ruin this show FML

best show ever and they are sending it down the crapper.

I find it hard to believe that stars won't allow FTP pros to play. However, they probably won't be able to wear Full Tilt logos.

Maybe this is just payback. Didn't Full Tilt not allow PS pros on PAD for a while or something like that?

But yeah, I don't think they could not let FTP pros play on the show. Considering how many fan favorites would be left out, they'd almost have to relent because their ratings would suck.

Personally, I think that if this kind of thing is really going to be an issue, they should just make it a standard for NO logos to be displayed, no matter the show's affiliation. I'm pretty sure most of us don't really care who is wearing what logo, and as such wouldn't detract from our enjoyment of the show.

Stars banned their own people from playing on PAD akaik.

I believe I remember him saying how Stars wanted their players not to play, and that he agreed with their reasoning, but then missed it so much he just had to play.

Yeah, it was Stars that was banning it's players (because I guess overseas the show if much more "Full Tilt in your face", and since the overseas market is very vital right now, they didn't want their players to help in that aspect. I think it got pushed under the rug pretty quickly because Negreanu was on it this season. FT has players from every site on PAD regularly, I can't imagine Stars would deny Tilt players.

I did not know that Stars was taking over HSP. Is this something new? Link?

Nevermind the link... I'm doing my own google search... I guess Dennis Phillips is supposed to play. He'll get crushed, ala Jamie Gold. Unfortunately he's not as fun a 'character' as Gold, imo...

How many FT pros actually played regularly on this show anyway? I'm trying to think... Patrik Antonius is really the only one that stand out in my mind... Is Eli Elezra considered a FT pro? I enjoy watching him... They need Sam Farha back... whatever happened to him. I would love to see his crazy style up against durrr... and Zigmund... oh, how glorious that would be.

Most players don't wear logos on HSP anyways do they? I read once that most of them satisfy their contractual requirements outside of big cash games like this so they don't have to sport the logos. Either way I hope PS doesn't screw the show up.
