That's the first freeroll gone with no-one registered even though I had qualified and was waiting for the register button to appear just in case. It just said 'Tournament Voided' and disappeared. Nice going Fill Tilt.
This sticks. This is total BS. Etc.
These better be rescheduled.
What a stupid carry on.
It seems to be a shambles every month.
Get it sorted guys FFS. |

| Well, I sat there and opened up the tourney window, and the first one said "voided", as well as the next one. Don't know what is going on, but I know I qualified for a few of these myself... What's up FT????? |

Just got a reply from support:
Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.
Unfortunately, a technical error prevented players from being registered for the recent Poker Academy freerolls, and we're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Your freeroll will be rescheduled for next week. Once we've registered you for the tournament, we'll send you an email notification confirming your tournament's start date and time.
We appreciate your understanding, and if you have any questions, please let us know. |

So we have the THIRD month (3 out of 8) of completely snafu'ed SnL Freeroll Tournaments from the FTA. Once, is understandable, twice should cost someone their job, and THREE times (almost in a row) is just plain inexcusable; even on its own. Then you add in the ZERO notification, ZERO updates, and ZERO response of ANY kind from ANY branches of FT support to the THOUSANDS of people that they just left hanging in the wind.
Sure the FTA has been making some cosmetic updates to the academy, but as a software developer and programer, wouldnt you make sure you product WORKED! before you spent time changing it to making look prettier? This is NOT an isolated incident, the FTA has been beset with problems recently, most of which I've been willing to overlook. But this affected a significant chunk of people, but they chose to ignore it and leave us all guessing without even a word.
Wouldnt it have been kind of nice to send out a blanket email on Friday to those who had qualified for the SnL Tournament saying they were going to be unable to have it? that way we could have atleast changed our plans instead of sitting here frustrated with no clue what was going on? And now we are supposed to set aside NEXT weekend TOO, in hopes that they MIGHT be able to reschedule and rerun the MTTs then? not that they will tell us anything of course.
If you show up to a brick and mortar casino for a 2-day tournament you've won an entry into; and they are unable to have it because of a power outage or water main brake or whatever; do they just tell you to get F'd and go away they way FT does, or what do they do? has anyone ever had it happen?
Its not like they didnt know or hadnt been told multiple times before by multiple people, but apparently our feedback (and the complete disregard of thousands of thier customers) ACTUALLY means nothing at all.

all in all it was just a...
another brick in the wall...
this incidents is what makes us FTPA supporters mad when they notified that the freerolls could be played only once in a lifetime,... til they get the thing properly running it should be considered on test and therefore generate no such records.
lets wait and see, someone must have a working brain in FTPA

I finally got a similar three sentence email from support as the one mentioned above. I replied with the following
This email would have been a MORE than sufficent response had it been sent out Friday evening (or even Saturday morning, before the start of the tournamnets), or had this information been avaliable at all in any form on your site.
But given that NO responses or information came untill several hours AFTER the any entire 2-day tournament event, containing dozzens of MTTs, and thousands of players (who adjusted thier schedules on both days to be avaliable to play in this well publised event, but were never given any information, allowed to regiester, and could only sit there watching the MTTs being voided one by one untill the entire list was pulled), and added to all the confusing and continued problems with the rules changes and other errors present in attempts to hold this even on previous months; I dont see how this comes anywhere near being a
satisfactory or complete response to what was allowed to happen.
Please provde an a proper response if possible.
P.S. Do you have any comment on how one player (Aryela) was able to register and enter the event even though no means of automatically or manually entering were every provided; or why this players appears on none of the leaderboards that were necessary to qualify for the event?
I will let you know if i hear anything in reply. |

Was able to:
- manually register to 6 tournaments (all i did the SnL for)
- of those 6 there are 2 i did play last month aswell.....(one time eh!?)
- funny to me is the SnL "Game Selection" as this SnL does not show in SnL list in the Academy nor on the "overview" of leaderboards for me ;o).....those who managed to get into this smal one enjoy ;o))) |

The lesson is there... and from there you can get to both the SNL and the Challenge, although the challenge isn't operational at this time.
Update: I just tried it and got there in four clicks... not that it will help anyone get into this month's satellite.
I think i registered for about 18, including a couple that were crossed up with a different SNL. |
