Didn't bore me at all. In fact, it was a well thought out and well worded reply. These forums could actually benefit from more posts like these. Very Happy

Look at this from the viewpoint of one of my opponents...

Here's the issue that makes micros tough to play. You acknowledge the fact that some players may not respond to plays the way a thinking player would (i.e. representing ranges, etc.). In accordance with this, you cannot assume your opponents are putting you on anything based on your UTG raise.

In reality, I think many micro players will often call a raise from any position with A-rag suited, and not even think about folding when an ace hits the flop. You can rep pocket kings all you want but they aren't going anywhere.

That isn't to say that you are always behind in this particular hand. It just leads to so many awkward situations.

Going back to my example... say you make your 1/3-2/3 pot bet and you get one fold and one call. Turn is a 9. Do you bet again, or do you check and give up?

I know I'm fabricating a specific example, but I'm just showing you the uncomfortable situations that can arise simply because you don't know how your opponents will react to what you are doing.

A raise here isn't terrible if you are comfortable playing against your opponents post-flop. But the following factors lead me to simply fold here:
1) Early in the SnG - low blinds, higher risk for low reward
2) Unknown opponents
3) (Assuming a) Full field of opponents
4) Plenty of time left to outplay said opponents.

I'd rather wait until I have a firm grasp on my opponents, the field has been thinned out a bit, and the pots are bigger PF before I start mixing it up with hands like these.
