|
|
| Sitting in a 3+30KO, I was 2 seats before a reckless player..he was shoving with anything...and I mean anything. He was running lucky, catching the impossible. I caught a monster and almost folded it because I knew he'd call whatever I did. I said screw it and went all-in. he calls about 4000 chips with a 34. Flop was blank-3-3, turn was his 4..and I'm gone. A couple hands before that I raised quite a bit utg with QQ...guy call from the small blind with 66 and catches a 6...how do you play against reckless players? Out-luck 'em? Limp with big hands and hope to flop a set or whatever? Any advice? |

| hmmm. Take a hand you think is better than theirs and get a bunch of chips in the pot. If they beat you, play them again in another game. Poker'z EZ. |

| Nothing different to do, but wait until your KK smashes his 34 suited |

| Just pick two cards that you think are over his two cards and shove back. Sometimes he'll wake up with a big hand. It happens just reload and play on. |

I thrive on these scenarios. Makes the game truly fun. Hey those guys for the most part only get lucky in the beginning.
Just play your game. As long as you have confidence in your post flop play, it shouldn't be a problem.
If they're constantly shoving, just get it in with a premium hand and the rest is out of your control. But remember not to get results oriented as a result of these players. I like to take a more tricky trappy approach with these guys. |

Really, the only way to beat these guys is to keep playing solid poker. I've been knocked out by stupid play, but these guys seldom make it to the final table.
I just have to keep reminding myself that the hand isn't over until all the cards are on the table, and to play tight until I'm sure I've got the nuts. |

| I've found when I am at the table with this type player I opt not to go heads up against them unless I have a top 10 pre-flop hand....i will raise very aggressively pre-flop and a continuation on the flop....if i miss the flop and they stick around I bowl for any another day. They eventually knock themselves out. |

| I try to act like they don't exist and stop watching them after they have exhibited that behavior and play my basic percentages against any 2 random cards. If I like 'em, I'll push. |
