I guess I'm special. |

it appears they figured the challange for this month wasn't winning poker, but figuring out how to REGISTER! Shame they didnt cover THAT in any of the Sit-N-Learns! Maybe that's NEXT month's lesson, not that any one will still be around to see it. |

Born.....hehe it has been if i remeber right that ealier it included "once per month"..while now like you say too changed to just "once"..which allows a wide range of ways to understand it ;o)
Though it too is the way that there is many information on the paget which is not the way things worked out BEINg hehe...

- sure 15th August might have been a simple misswriting ;o)
- but who has been automatically entered???

| Remember: You only get one chance to make the leaderboard for each Sit-N-Learn. |
- same link and the one side note that might be the key for the whole lifetime discussion (similiar lines/wording to be found on the start of eachSit N Learn and in the instructions)

| the very first month if( i remember right) i got an e-mail to register. we were never auto registered which i dont have a problem with as there are always so many no shows in these freerolls. at least by making people register you get players that want to play. i am such an action junkie i am playing these this morning and flashing back to my play chip days |

So how do we fix this?
I am bummed I did not get to compete in a tournament I was looking forward to and I am disappointed in a site and program I enjoy!
Full Tilts Academy has helped my play and let me think of better ways to improve my bad play.
Here is what bugs me and the point I would like to make
The rules on the sit and go are not clear and so is the date?
Here is how I Understand the program works. You could play each sit-and-learn once for that month, if you got in the top 1000 you got to be in the free roll for that sit and learn and if you did not get in the top 1000 to bad to sad. At the end of the month the Sit-and-go were reset and you could try to get in the top 1000 again.
And as quoted from the sit and go site
The top 1000 players on last month's leader board qualified for a satellite which will be played on August 15, 2009. If you qualify for the satellite you will be automatically entered. Satellites will be posted under the “Satellites Tournaments” tournament tab at Full Tilt Poker.
Now I try to get registered for a tournament because I am one of the top 1000 player’s on last month’s leader-board, and email support. I get an email back saying I can only do the sit and go once in a lifetime. Where as I have been playing in the tournaments for the last 3 months and repeated the satellites with no problem.
I can find no where on the site where it says I can only play a sit-and-play once per life time. (and if I complain it will suddenly show up some where in the small print)
So Saturday August the 8th (Not even the date they say the satellites will be played) comes and on average 40 people per tournament are able to get in some of which I have played a tournament with more than once in their life time . I am stuck on the out side not able to play with rules that are not posted.
I know it is a free roll but I am bummed and on a personal note I don’t know what I am more bummed about, looking forward to playing in the tournaments and not getting the chance to play or the fact some people get to play and I do not because of rule changes or software problems.
What to do next. Complain to what support. Email Howard Leader or Chris Ferguson who lend their name to the site and promote this academy.
Keep me informed on how you guys do on tomorrow’s tournament and thanks for a place to vent |

So at the final tally, 333 people are entered into tomorow's (not that thats the day it was scheduled or annoucned) S-n-L MTT. Since every single player that was able to register for any for the SnL Sats made the final MTT thats a ludicriously low amount of participants as compared to any previous month. Just goes to show that even though 90% or more of the people that wanted to play in them couldnt get in to do so. 20 SnLs with 1000 places each is a max of 20,000 seats; 333 got in (wouldnt be suprised if they were full tilt staff) thats just over 1% So I can only imagine the number of emails, calls, posts, and other questions and complaints Full Tilt got over this .... and they did .... NOTHING!
and they did .... NOTHING! |

I slept in when the qualies were being played lmao didnt matter I qualified anyway as only 60 odd people played, woke up to check and had nearly finished in first place lol.
Oh well I am happy to be playing for a shot at some good money, even better that the field is so small.
333 entries paying 90 |

i promise i am not full tilt staff. seems like those that were punished were those that played all 20 every month. myself i just played the same 5 or 6 each month until last month when i did like 10 of them. so i got in my 4 new ones plus was able to register for the others early on before the apparent rule change.
i also am expecting the freeroll to be cancelled at the last minute, if not maybe we should all use the new chop feature.....333 chops =15 bucks |

Don't take it as sarcasm as it really isnt......to me these 333 people appear a realtive large number compared to the months ago...considering the following numbers:
For all the months we got 20 SnL's with 1000 possible entrants....and the Leaderboards always got more than 1000 people on them if i am not mistaken...
May: rough avg of 150-250 in the Sats, with 933 Entrants to the rescheduled "Final" (this month Sat Entrants were registered automatically!)
June: rough avg of 150-220 in the Sats, with 517 Entrants to the Final
July: rough avg of 180-260 in the Sats, with 601 Entrants to the Final
August: todays avg of lets say 60 gave us 333 Finalists......
So i really wonder how numbers are to develop if there is really a once-per-lifetime restriction implemented now ;o)
Cheers Grimm
PS rough avg -> Grimmiii looking over excel sheet so no real maths behind this, though the entrants for Finals should be 99% correct |

i agree it will dwindle down to nothing soon. unless they add new sit n learn quizzes every month. i still have a few i have not played so i can play again the next few months. actually at this level of participation the satellites become unnecessary and a complete waste of resources on full tilts end.
so how many sit outs you suppose there will be of the 333?? |

I highly doubt that Fulltilt will cancel the 5k one as all is done and dusted with the final field completed. Plus this is the VERY FIRST TIME EVER that I have entered this thing, some of you guys have had quite a few attempts so I think its fair to say that I rightfully deserve my seat at the table.
Lets be fair after all and give us first timers ago eh. |

| If you ask me, this whole promo needs to be revamped. Even in the months when registration was flawless, I'd wager that most people who made it into more than one Saturday satellite made it to the Sunday final. Even folks who sit out made it. Ignoring this month, it seems around 200 people are registering for each tournament. Seems reasonable to limit tickets to the top 20. That way, folks couldn't coast on Saturday, and the field on Sunday would (probably) be smaller. |

next month they should hide registration for the sit-n-learn tournaments in the razz play money section... Nobody would ever look there. |

Should be good tourney, how long you recko it will go tomorrow cannonwillow? I see last months went for 4 and a half hours with 600 odd players, this tourney has half that amount so I reckon it might be finished after 3-4 hours.
See you on the table cannon |
