| Mostly, yes. You'll find a lot of calling stations and some aggro maniacs. I think only betting with the nuts and calling down very tight can even be profitable at the lowest stakes. Obviously, this strategy won't work for higher games. I've noticed a lot of players willing to go broke with flushes or straights on paired boards, non nut straights, and especially non nut flushes. If the flop comes Js8s2s and someone holds a Q or K high flush, you can be almost sure that they'll raise it until they're all in. Not everyone plays bad like that, but there are enough of this type of player to easily take advantage of. |

+ 1 to what vector said.
One exception to the super tight play is to be on the lookout for people who will ONLY raise preflop with AAxx or KKxx and then get it in on any flop / never fold regardless of the board or action. I'll call these people super light preflop, as its easy to play correctly on the later streets if you know what they have with a high degree of confidence. |

these players are especially awesome. AAxx is probably equivalent to TT or AK in holdem - it's most likely best preflop, but it's very easy for you to get outdrawn on the flop.
you get AAxx about once every 40 hands, so if you overplay it you can lose a lot of money very quickly. |

| Not speaking for the whole poker world, just my personal opinion but i think you might find some nitty play at almost every stakes you play, but yeah it's most likely extremely loose at micro stakes, some call it B-I-N-G-O. |

| You can definitely profit at micro stakes PLO by just peddling the nuts, it's just a matter of how much boredom you can handle. But I think for anyone starting out PLO, it's probably a good strategy to nut-peddle and then slowly start opening up as you become more comfortable with the game. |

i actually played my first 9player PLO $1.25 tournament last night.
suprisingly the players played really tight. i expected there to be ton of action but for the first half of the tournament there was rarely any raising preflop... and usually the first person who bet out won the pot.
i was completely card dead for the first 30 minutes which actually served me well. i developed a really tight image....and by the time we were 6 handed i ended up getting a rush of FANTASTIC cards....ran over the table...showed down a couple of monster and became the Table Captain for the bubble.
i had a 2:1 chip advantage going into HU play...but i got completely cold decked on the big hands.... and finished a surprising if not disappointing 2nd place. |

| I play a fair amount of micro stakes PLO ring games, and for the most part there are at least one or two players at each table just wanting to donate. I'm not much of a poker player and can usually still turn a small profit when I sit down. Some days you just get outflopped every hand it seems like, takes some patience. |

Seems like many of your guys' responses are along the same lines as what I just posted here:

It sure seems like some days you just can't anyone to valuetown for the life of you, but eventually the TAG will get sick of your bullying and play back at you, or the LAG will "trap" you when you actually have the stone cold nuts. It might take 20 50 or 100 hands but it will happen, just gotta be patient -- knowing they can not fold the King-high flush or the 2nd-nut-straight when they hit it on the river, bet out and they WILL shove since they think it's "sooooo unlikely" that you have that one unlikely hand that beats them. And don't get me started on under-fulls, sweet mercy how can they not notice the 3 paint cards that are staring back at them by the river? ^_^ |
