Yeah, 50 out of 435. I would say there is still a ways to go.

Note, Ron Paul is a co-sponsor....

More than 50, at least 220 have to vote for it and then it would move on to the Senate and get through them before it became law.

A bill can have 0 co-sponsors and still become a law in theory. Alex is right, we've got a ways to go.

So I guess I'm the only who likes the internet gambling ban in this country? Seriously, if this passes, you'll have poker sites reporting your winnings to the IRS. Can't say I much care for that idea.

He also one of only about a dozen congressmen who the founder fathers wouldn't have executed on the spot.

This should tell us all something about our current government, FWIW.

And he gets passed over and instead a McCain gets the nod, should tell you something about the voters in this country.....
