im on a 30 day chat ban because i was dumb enough to let somebody get me heated up at him and i said a naughty word .lol but seriously im here to play razz and have met some very cool people here but there is no way to say or tell who you playing that you cant talk and im having people take it personally tonite sellopt who also is a reg said after he was up $24 say something just hi or im leaving so naturally i could not say hi and he left and said damn dude cant you even say hi ..lol sounds crazy but it has people thinking i dont want to talk to them please excuse my grammar and dont say well you put your self in that position but its frustrating you cant even move your icon without the chat ban banner popping up ! i guess there is nothing i can do but wait it out lesson learned dont let a idiot set you up first they insult you than when you say something back you get the ban oh well sorry for the ramble and the bad grammar !!!!!!!

I made this suggestion to Tilt that when a player has muted/banned chat that there should be some way other user's should know about it... and my suggestion was for the same reasoning's as mentioned in your post - I don't want to appear like I'm ignoring anyone or being a prick, although I can be one.. lol

Would be pretty easy for them to do it as well to be honest I would think. Just have an icon on the avatar like the iron man chip if you are muted or something. My guess they won't do anything, but would think it would be fairly easy to do.

It's ridiculous how easily they hand these things out. Didn't someone get chat banned for calling someone a 'moron' the other day.

I guess I can see it if someone is going of on a racist or threatening rant. But I think they are handing them out a little too easily.

I've got fumed on this site before and said things that would make Phil Hellmuth blush. I've calculated it to be at least a 3 lifetime ban span on chat.
But I've never been banned.

you got lucky most people like my self get chat ban because someone snitched like a little **** and e-mail support. anyways for vernon who asked why i got 30 day ban it was because i was playing razz villian called me a lucky s.o.b so i said its cause you suck arse and he said watch your mouth or ill e-mail support so i hate snitches so i said screw ft, screw your, mom,sister,brother aunt,uncle the whole damn family of yours!! overboard yes but he had followed me from table to table for at least 20 min b4 i said what i said and it was on a h/u game so villian stopped me from playing!! thats why im banned imo not one bad word was said except arse maybe they got mad cause i challenged them by saying screw ft..but it is what it is just wish they could button the people on chat ban ..

lol well the warning was in his message that he was a little snitch and would run to support. Should have kept record of the chat yourself, or kept a lid on the mouth with those types. I've certainly run my mouth a few times over the last 12 months, so must have been lucky, though I've never bypasssed the chat filter. I "may" have used the term moron from time to time.. or maybe not (fulltilt). Guess its just if you get snitched on mostly.

Yea I know what its like.I got a month chat ban and as soon as I got it back within 10 minutes I got another month.Im still on it now.Its BS.because sometimes you just want to say something but cant.Anyhow chat bans suck.

The only thing I've been banned for is spamming, and that's by the infamous green mod, I think next time I do it I get banned for a week.

It amazes me how quick support chat bans and unbans someone but then takes weeks to accomplish anything else.

ehh, I've noticed that turning the chat completely off helped my game a whole lot. You suck out, well you don't have to read their comments. They suck out you can still write something, they see it but you don't have to see their responses.
